Who Are We Looking For

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in building and scaling complex data-centric systems that power intelligent decision-making in the ecommerce space. If you’re excited about transforming data into actionable insights and developing high-performance platforms, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in the full life cycle of user-facing applications and automations at scale, from design to implementation, testing and production

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business, industry, codebase, and/or systems

  • Build data applications to power our intelligence using tools like Spark

  • Push the boundaries of engineering and data in the organization, find new and innovative ways to use data to drive business value

  • Ship impactful data solutions and features that enhance our data consumer experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Proven expertise in:
    > Backend or full-stack development in modern programming languages
    (e.g., Python,Java, Go, Scala).
    > Working with large-scale data systems and complex architectures.
    > Building and maintaining high-scale, high-availability, and
    high-throughput applications.

Technical Requirements:

  • Data Infrastructure: Experience with:
    > Distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark, Databricks, Flink
    > NoSQL and NewSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra,
    DynamoDB, CockroachDB, Google BigQuery, ClickHouse
  • DevOps & Cloud: Familiarity with:
    > Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Terraform
    > Cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
    > Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana,
    Datadog    , etc.)
  • Modern Engineering Practices:
    > Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines
    > GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    > Microservices and event-driven architectures

Soft Skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively seek out opportunities.

  • Strong business mindset: able to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Curious and data-driven thinker with a passion for learning.

Bonus Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with machine learning pipelines or data science toolchains.

  • Experience in the ecommerce, SaaS, or adtech domains.

  • Experience with external data providers, including integrating and analyzing 3rd-party data to extract business value.
